MyCare Malta Launches Its New Health Platform

A new digital platform connecting families and healthcare professionals across Malta — bringing care plans, appointments and services into one secure place.

A new chapter for connected care in Malta

After two years of listening, testing and more late nights than we care to admit, we’re proud to announce the beta launch of the new MyCare Malta platform.

Our carer services and Patient Health Portal are now live, and the professional directory is growing every day as healthcare providers and wellness professionals across Malta join the platform.

This is not a preview environment. Carers, families and professionals are already using MyCare today.

The beta simply means the platform will keep improving every week, shaped by the people who rely on it.

We even added a small assistant called Brian — a digital helper that reduces admin and can suggest care-plan drafts based on evaluations, always under professional supervision.

From evaluation to care

Every MyCare journey starts with a care evaluation. This helps us understand the client’s needs, daily routines and the level of support required at home.

From this evaluation the platform creates a structured care plan. That plan guides both the recruitment of the right carer and the delivery of everyday care.

Once a carer is assigned, the plan becomes a living guide for daily support, turning tasks such as medication reminders, mobility assistance or daily routines into simple digital workflows.

MyCare also handles the practical side of care, including documentation, administration and payroll management, helping families and carers focus on care rather than paperwork.

The patient health portal

At the centre of the platform is the MyCare Patient Health Portal.

This secure space allows individuals and families to manage appointments, evaluations, care plans, medical history and payments in one place. Every activity is recorded through a clear log so families and professionals can follow the care journey with confidence.

We also included a small but meaningful addition — a pet and veterinary section — recognising that wellbeing in many households includes the animals people care about.

A growing health and wellness network

Alongside home care services, MyCare is building a wider health and wellness network across Malta.

Clinics, pharmacies, doctors, physiotherapists, carers, gyms, studios and wellness professionals are gradually joining the platform. The aim is to make it easier for people to discover services, book appointments and connect with trusted providers.

Over time the platform is designed to become a connected digital environment for healthcare and wellbeing across the country.

Connecting the care ecosystem

Healthcare often becomes fragmented between hospitals, clinics and care at home.

MyCare is developing tools that allow clinical information, discharge plans and care updates to move more easily between providers and families. When everyone works from the same information, care becomes safer and more coordinated.

Rather than replacing existing systems, the platform is designed to connect with the healthcare technologies already used in Malta.

Built for the future of care

The platform is being developed using recognised healthcare standards such as SNOMED CT, ICD-10 and ICD-11, LOINC and FHIR. These frameworks help ensure that healthcare information can be structured correctly and shared securely.

Future updates will also introduce connections with wearable devices and health monitoring technology, helping carers and clinicians respond earlier when support is needed.

A platform for families and professionals

For families, MyCare offers a simple way to organise care, book services and stay informed.

For healthcare professionals and businesses, it provides tools to manage appointments, services, recruitment and patient interactions within one connected system.

By simplifying administration and improving visibility, the platform helps everyone focus on what matters most — delivering better care.

A beta launch with real momentum

MyCare is launching in beta because healthcare platforms should evolve with the people who use them.

The core services are already live, the professional directory continues to grow, and new improvements will be introduced regularly over the coming months.

If you’re curious about what we’re building, explore the platform, claim your professional profile or book a demonstration to see how MyCare is shaping the future of connected care in Malta.
