  • “Account” refers to the registered profile created by users to access services on MyCare Malta.

3. User Accounts & Registration

3.1 Account Eligibility

  • Users must be at least 18 years old to register for a MyCare Malta account.
  • Healthcare Professionals and Healthcare Businesses must provide valid credentials, licenses, and relevant documentation upon registration.
  • MyCare Malta reserves the right to verify credentials before approving an account.

3.2 Account Responsibilities

  • Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
  • Users must provide accurate, truthful, and up-to-date information during registration.
  • MyCare Malta reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our Terms and Conditions.

4. Services Provided

4.1 Appointment Booking & Telemedicine

  • Healthcare Professionals can manage appointment availability through MyCare Malta’s scheduling system.
  • Patients may book consultations directly with Healthcare Professionals.
  • Telemedicine services may be offered through video consultation where applicable.
  • Healthcare Professionals and Businesses are responsible for ensuring compliance with local regulations regarding telemedicine and patient care.

4.2 Carer Recruitment & Administration Services

  • MyCare Malta provides a carer recruitment service where patients and families can find trained carers.
  • Administrative services such as payroll, legal documentation, and government subsidy processing are available for users who hire carers through our platform.
  • MyCare Malta is not liable for direct employer-employee relationships between carers and patients.

4.3 E-Commerce & Online Sales

  • Healthcare Businesses can list and sell healthcare products through the MyCare Malta online store.
  • All transactions must comply with Malta’s consumer protection laws and product safety regulations.
  • MyCare Malta is not responsible for product quality, delivery, or warranty claims; these remain the responsibility of the seller.

4.4 Professional Networking

  • Healthcare Professionals and Healthcare Businesses may network and collaborate within the platform.
  • Clinics, pharmacies, and hospitals may integrate professionals into their business profiles.
  • MyCare Malta is not responsible for any agreements made between professionals and businesses outside the platform.

5. Payment & Billing

5.1 Appointment Fees & Online Payments

  • Healthcare Professionals and Businesses can accept online payments for bookings, either in full or as deposits.
  • Payments are processed securely through third-party payment gateways.
  • Refund policies must be outlined by the Healthcare Professional or Business offering the service.

5.2 Subscription & Service Fees

  • Some services on MyCare Malta may require a subscription or service fee.
  • MyCare Malta reserves the right to change pricing structures with prior notice.

5.3 Refunds & Cancellations

  • Refunds and cancellations for services such as appointments, telemedicine, and online purchases are subject to individual provider policies.
  • MyCare Malta does not process refunds directly but facilitates communication between users and providers.

6. User Responsibilities & Code of Conduct

  • Users must engage respectfully and professionally with other users.
  • False information, fraudulent activity, or misuse of the platform is strictly prohibited.
  • Healthcare Professionals and Businesses must comply with all legal and ethical obligations in their respective fields.
  • Users must not engage in discriminatory, abusive, or illegal behaviour on the platform.

7. Privacy & Data Protection

  • MyCare Malta complies with GDPR and Maltese data protection laws.
  • Personal information is stored securely and only shared with third parties as necessary for service delivery.
